金森昂大/KODAI KANAMORI
2000年奈良県生まれ。2024年武蔵野美術大学造形学部視覚伝達デザイン学科卒業。現在は東京を拠点に、日常の中に潜む微細なズレや違和感をテーマに制作活動を行う。普段は見過ごされがちな些細な不調和や感覚を捉え、立体物や空間を用いて視覚的に表現する。見る者に違和感を意識させることによって、当たり前とされる感覚や認 識の枠組みを揺さぶる作品を発表している。
Born in Nara in 2000. Graduated from the Department of Visual Communication Design, Musashino Art University in 2024. Currently based in Tokyo, the artist creates works that explore subtle dissonances and discomforts hidden in everyday life. By capturing these often overlooked irregularities and sensations, and expressing them visually through objects and spatial installations, the works aim to unsettle conventional perceptions and challenge the frameworks of what is considered “ordinary.”

時間の交差
4つのキャリーケースがランニングマシーンの上で静かに動き続ける。前には進まず止まることもない。小さな穴からレールが通され、その上を鉄球が転がり続ける。留まるキャリーケースと転がる鉄球には、異なる時間が流れているように見える。私はベトナムを訪れた際、「時間の流れは場所によって異なるのでは」と感じた。速さの問題ではなく、進み方の“感触”の違いだ。あるものは速く、あるものは遅く──世界はそうした多様な時間の重なりで成り立っているのかもしれない。空港もまた時間の交差点である。出 発と到着、待機と移動、静止と通過。人はここで、自らの時間を持ち寄り、他者の時間とすれ違い、混ざり合う。この作品から、時間の流れの感覚を感じ取っていただきたい。
Four suitcases quietly keep moving on a treadmill. They neither advance nor stop. Through small holes, rails run inside, along which iron balls continue to roll. The still suitcases and the rolling balls seem to exist in different flows of time.When I visited Vietnam, I felt that “the passage of time might differ depending on place.” It was not about speed, but about the texture of how time moves. Some moments feel fast, others slow—and perhaps the world is built upon the layering of such diverse times.An airport is also a crossroads of time: departures and arrivals, waiting and moving, stillness and transit. Here, people bring their own time, crossing or mingling with the time of strangers. This installation invites you to sense those different rhythms of time.
